We are seeking an experienced Corporate Paralegal to work from any of our offices throughout the U.S., to provide general support services to the legal department and the practice for specific offices or regions. Assignments will involve assisting with contract reviews, licensing renewals, subpoena responses and other corporate legal support services as assigned.

Is this the right position to help you achieve your professional goals? Some of the key responsibilities for the position include:

Review and negotiate professional service agreements consistent with the firm s Risk Management, policies, guidelines, and programs; agreements include client contracts, subcontracts, equipment leases, property leases, vendor and confidentiality agreements among others;
Manage and prepare applications and renewals of the company s professional licenses in various jurisdictions; work with project teams to ensure awareness of licensing requirements; maintain records of licensing renewals;
Respond to questions regarding insurance requirements; request certificates of insurance as needed; and maintain record of requests;
Assist others in the Legal Department to collect and review documents and respond to document requests served on the firm;
Assist and support the corporate operations of the company by helping the other corporate departments, such as the HR department, IT department and accounting;
Respond to questions from around the company on subjects managed by the legal department;
Assist the legal department with tasks as assigned by the General Counsel; and
Other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.


Graduation from university, community college or equivalent, and at least five (5) years of related paralegal, legal assistant or legal support services in a law firm or in-house legal department; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
Juris Doctor (preferred)
Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts with clients. (required)
Experience with professional service agreements. (preferred)
Experience working in the engineering and/or construction industry. (preferred)
