Job Description
Teach critical skills to students on a one-on-one basis using behavior analysis (training provided)
Provide support during social interactions between peers
Teach a variety of skills, depending on the needs of our clients. For example: letter ID, shape ID, matching, personal information questions, body language, sarcasm, social skills, etc.
Collect and graph data
Communicate clearly with parents using both written and verbal formats
Learn to manage challenging behavior
Minimum Qualifications:
Volunteer or work experience with children
Detail oriented
Openness to feedback
Dependable/reliable/professional
Must enjoy and care about our clients
Must be comfortable with challenging/aggressive behaviors
1-year commitment
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass criminal background check
CPR/First Aid certification, or be willing to obtain
HIV/AIDS training (required by the state)
If hired, must apply for state license (required by state)
Reliable transportation required
Position Benefits and Details:
Prior experience is not required
Training is provided with close, ongoing supervision
Guaranteed hours
After initial training period, pay raises are awarded for sufficient progress as early as 2 to 3 months after hire date.
Accrued paid time off after 90 days
Full-time position, Monday – Thursday, 9am – 6pm, Friday 9am – 3:30pm. Must be available between these hours; however, scheduling may allow you to have occasional times of the day off.

Supplemental insurance available through Aflac
RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) training for credential offered (entails 40 hrs of online training, plus oral exam in clinic and written exam at testing center) with stipend upon completion

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
