Description :
Assembly / Warehouse Associates support Production in the movement of parts and material within lead time and to aerospace quality standards.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills, abilities, and experience:

Adaptable to rapidly changing duties and deadlines from day to day
Excellent attendance and safety awareness
Mathematical skills, such as converting inches to/from feet and other units of measure

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in manufacturing with strict quality standards (i.e., AS9100)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Locate and decipher customer and industry specifications within engineering documents

Issue materials to production per Work Order

Verify and maintain inventory with a high degree of accuracy
Perform Part Marking in accordance with customer and industry specifications

Entry of information into ERP system
Package parts appropriately for storage or shipment
Communicate with production, administration, customers, and vendors
Crosstrain in all Stores department functions
Driving parts to and from processors, customers, and freight drop off

Lift up to 50lbs, Stand/walk up to 85%, Sit up to 75%, Other up to 50%
HEIGHTS/LADDERS/STAIRS, TWISTING AT THE WAIST, BENDING/STOOPING, SQUATTING/KNEELING, CRAWLING, REACHING OUT,
TALKING/HEARING/SEEING, WORKING ABOVE SHOULDERS, HANDLING/GRASPING, FINE FINGER MANIPULATION, FOOT
CONTROLS, DRIVING, REPETITIVE MOTION, VIBRATORY TASKS.

Specific vision capabilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to
adjust focus.

Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the
essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to Shop/Industrial
environment. The noise level in the work environment has potential to be 89.4 decibels, which requires OSHA approved ear
protection. Frequently used PPE in this position is: Ear protection, dust masks, respirators, gloves, and safety glasses.
L&E follows all state and local guidelines for COVID-19. All employees are required to follow guidelines for mask wearing, hand
washing, and social distancing.

Education and/or Experience:

Entry level to 10 years work experience
High School diploma or equivalent

Preference given to those with experience with ISO/AS9100 standards

Certificates, Licenses, or Registrations:

Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Eligible to work on ITAR projects (lawful permanent resident of the United States as defined by 8 U.S.C.)

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have working knowledge of typing, Windows/Microsoft, website
navigation, and working with an ERP.
