PROPELLER BRAND STRATEGY
Associate Director, Brand Strategy (open to talent at the Senior Brand Strategist level as well) – Healthcare/Pharma Advertising
Help expand the future of our Brand Strategy team! As Associate Director you will be an integral strategic leader defining and guiding healthcare partners (Pharma & Medical Device clients) on key platform development and business initiatives to adopt and execute upon to drive performance. Responsible for evolving, translating, and actioning marketing and digital objectives into HCP communication plans and messaging, rooted in customer insights and market trends— while ensuring internal cross-functional alignment of partner goals, vision and desired output.
This position reports into the Senior Vice President, Strategy & Operational Excellence. The position has remote work flexibility; onboarding will be virtual.
Your contribution to our partners would include:
Strategy:Leverage a deep understanding of brand marketing to collaborate on the successful building of effective, innovative B2B/HCP brand strategies across multiple channels
Positioning & Messaging: Shape strategic platforms and creative development of brands
Research:Initiate brand strategy discussions and subsequent market research initiatives to identify market needs and create and exploit brand opportunities
Insights:Uncover key customer/market insights as the basis for strategies and communication, which change perceptions and influence behavior to create a competitive advantage
Creativity and innovation:Think big and creative across a wide range of strategic opportunities, from indication/product launch planning to the evolution of long-standing platforms
Analysis:Define key performance indicators to support brand strategy and objectives, conduct analysis to determine program ROI, help create and inform metric reports and dashboards, and make recommendations based on learnings
Presentation:Create dynamic and compelling executive presentations that deliver brand and social strategy and new thinking in a story
Planning:Produce clear and concise proposals, strategic rationales, and recommendations throughout the brand planning lifecyle
Trend-watching:Follow cross-vertical trends and innovations to impact and influence healthcare strategies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
5+ years of experience in brand strategy for an in-house agency
Significant background in healthcare, focus in pharmaceutical
An engaging leadership presence that comes across equally strong in person, over the phone, and through writing
Deeply familiar with omnichannel brand strategy and its executions, including data, media/social, field, and experiential activations
Strong business judgment, decision making, and analytical skills (especially in social)
Content marketing expertise to bring stories to life in decks and build positioning/messaging
A self-starter who is collaborative and works well in an agile, entrepreneurial environment
Project and time management skills with the ability to work across multiple high-profile and high-budget programs at once, in collaboration with multidisciplinary team members
Bachelor’s degree required
