DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

Works with the localization groups in the proofing and editing of first- and second-party software text files and/or screen text
Approves and publishes text bugs
Assists in the proofing and editing of strategy guides, game manuals, operation manuals, and other publications when requested by other departments
Coordinates daily expectations for supporting team members
Evaluates and reports on associate performance, as well as providing support, additional training, and guidance for copy-editing team • Actively engages in ongoing process improvement as well as personal development
Coordinates with internal and external groups on project management and short- to long-term planning
Maintains a detailed knowledge of policies, procedures, and workflows
Performs all job responsibilities in strict adherence to corporate prototype security policy and procedures
Provides excellent customer service to internal and external contacts
Facilitates testing/interviews for new applicants
May travel up to 10%, domestic and international

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

One to three years of related experience
Knowledge of video games and hardware platforms
Ability to remain flexible in scheduling, including overtime
Excellent knowledge and understanding of Nintendo products and game-content guidelines preferred
In-depth knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and content analysis in responsible language
Proficiency in proofreading and editing skills, ability to assess and edit content in applicable language
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, problem solving, and cross-group collaboration
Strong PC and Microsoft Office suite skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly confidential environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines
Experience in a software testing environment preferred
Associate degree in
