Position : Data Analyst – Information Systems Coordinator
Description :
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the SQL environment
Manage IBM Sequel environment
Manager the Cognos environment
Manage and configure ODBC and API connection to different systems
Ability to create interactive dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI
Understanding business problems and creating insightful reports to address business questions
Responsible for problem resolution and application support to our Parts and Services Business units.
Responsible for on-going maintenance of programs, which includes communicating software enhancements to end-users, coordinating and conducting associated training, and vendor communications.
Ability to effectively troubleshoot, research, and articulate problem resolutions to end-users.
Personal Attributes, Experience, and Education:
Prefer a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Information Systems or four or more years of experience as a developer
Experience in SQL query and managing SQL Server database
Experience in IBM Sequel query and managing IBM Server script and schedule jobs
Experience with data analytics tools like Cognos, Qlik, PowerBI or Tableau
Experience building ETL pipelines
Basic programing knowledge to utilize for improvement in existing processes is a plus
Learning attitude and eager to find solutions with minimum documentation
Experience in DBS application
Web development is a plus
Demonstrated success as a team player with a proactive, positive attitude and a strong sense of self-motivation who can perform job functions with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of parts and services sales operations is a plus.
Manage multiple tasks and changing priorities using strong organization and prioritization skills.
Flexible for required planned travel to some of our locations in Alaska, Montana, North Dakota, and Washington.
