The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a First line manager (Level K) for the Electromagnetic Effects (EME)/Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) capability in Puget Sound, Everett & Tukwila, WA.
This position will lead EME/E3 engineers supporting KC-46 and VC-25B, splitting responsibility with the Senior Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the areas of Electronic and Electrical Engineering.
Develops and carries out project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports.
Provides guidance and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
Manages, develops and motivates employees.
Workplace:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Puget Sound, Everett & Tukwila, WA..
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher in an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
Five (5) or more years practical experience in Electromagnetic Effects (EME)/Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with EME/E3 FAA and military requirements, design solutions, test and analysis methodologies
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
Active Secret or Top Secret clearance.
Familiarization with commercial derivative platforms.
Management of technical engineering personnel.

Shift: This is a 1st shift position.
