Mobile Platform
The Mobile Platform team within Core Engineering is responsible for making mobile development a first class experience at the firm. We aim to accomplish this by providing developers at Goldman Sachs with a secure, compliant, industry-aligned, mobile-focused portfolio of products in the form of SDKs, libraries, and services, so that teams can reduce app delivery time, reduce maintenance cost and focus on their core offerings. This platform is aimed at improving the overall velocity and stability of all mobile products within the firm
The Product Manager for the team would lead the Mobile Platform as a product lead. The individual will refine the existing strategy, manage the product delivery, synchronize roadmaps, and participate as a stakeholder in related initiatives
Job Responsibilities
Understand, validate and document customer needs, inspire and build product vision, and communicate it with stakeholders across multiple Business Units.
Inspire and create strategy, gain support by writing narratives, and build maintain high quality roadmaps across product domains.
Manage prioritization and tradeoffs and ensure the team is launching high value features at the right time.
Drive all areas of functional product management – product vision, design, product execution, value proposition, pricing, and go-to-market strategy
Responsible stakeholder and leadership communication in the form OKRs, KPIs, Working Backwards, and 2×2 Reporting.
Drive rationale decision-making using frameworks, articulate tradeoffs and constraints, ensuring that the team is always moving towards meeting customer needs.
Oversee and coordinate the delivery and launch of the mobile platform that enable clients and partner teams to succeed with their objectives.
Ability to launch and build mobile products across iOS and Android platforms.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
Minimum seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role.
Prior experience must include five (5) years with: Product management of web or mobile applications; Application Programming Interface (API) products enabling seamless integrations; scalable backend services.
Expertise in technical product management, driving the product vision, design, product execution and go-to-market strategy. Hand-on experience with verbal and written communication: clear, concise, and organized.
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters or MBA degree with seven (7) years of experience
Launched and managed large-scale (measured in active users) mobile products across iOS and Android platforms
Experience with the mobile development ecosystem.
