Job Responsibilities/Duties
The Expeditor will be responsible for planning, expediting, organizing, and performing administrative and technical duties in support of scheduled tasks in order to achieve organization’s operational and maintenance deliverables and commitments. These positions will support the EV Team.

The specific duties and responsibilities of the Expeditor include but are not limited to following activities:

Responsible for obtaining and reviewing work documents with Field Work Supervisor (FWS) to ensure documents are current (Radiological Work Permits [RWPs], Work Permits, Procedures, Waste Planning Checklists [WPC], etc.) and ready for work in support of scheduling activities and prior to deploying to the field.
Interface with the responsible Field Work Supervisor, Planner, Engineer, Material Coordinator and other groups.
Lead field walk downs of work packages with work package planners
Facilitate and track work packages to ensure documents are reviewed, approved and ready for work.
Evaluate work packages and/or orders and verify status to ensure they are ready to be worked by the end of week T-1.
Prioritize work packages and/or orders by reviewing and identifying if there are any remaining approvals and if so determine if the work needs to be rescheduled.
Gather information on work activities that were not performed as scheduled and create a report for the Production Control Metrics Administrator (PCMA) and Team Managers.
Communicate with Field Work Supervisors and/or Area managers to authenticate labor resources for availability.
Track worker vacation time, Personnel Time Off (PTB) and training commitment (e.g., Hammer trainer, medical appointments, union business) to ensure adequate resources are available to perform work.
Responsible for closing out work package by ensuring authorities/parties have properly documented worker hours spent on a job, measurement and test equipment data, and other job-related information, have signed off on required documentation; and accurately statuses the package in the computerized maintenance management system.
Participates in the Plan of the Day (POD) Status of the Day Meeting to track and manage the status of work performed in their area of responsibility.
Interface with other company organizations to ensure work is scheduled properly.
May perform Area Work Week Manager (WWM) duties and responsibilities during their absence.
Must understand the goals and commitments for the company and manage work scope accordingly.
Comply with WRPS policies and procedures.
Ensure Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) Principles are incorporated into organization’s activities.
This position requires a high ability to manage time effectively and multi-task.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business, Project Management or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Grade 13/14

Desired Qualifications
-Experience in a nuclear or Department of Energy (DOE) facility/site.

Familiarity with Conduct of Operations/Maintenance principles.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Demonstrated organizational and communication skills and flexibility in support of multifaceted, multi discipline activities to prepare for safe and efficient execution of work in the field.
