PURPOSE
Provide accurate and consistent support in Human Resources Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

Covers Human Resources (HR) reception area by assisting all walk-in traffic; answer incoming telephone calls; and handle applicant and Team Member needs, or direct them to the appropriate person or department in an expeditious manner while maintaining excellent guest service.
Distribute incoming and outgoing mail within the casino and HR Department.
Monitor office supplies and equipment, and make necessary orders or notifications as needed.
Provide assistance to the HR Department as needed, including document retention, purchasing card reconciliation, and staffing and recruitment duties.
Answer telephone console, forward calls and take messages.
Provide guests and Team Members with information necessary to meet their needs
Receive and greet company personnel and business associates (i.e. vendors, guests, Team Members) and assist them with their needs.
Maintain and operate all department office equipment, including copy machines, facsimile machine and computer.
Remain current on all casino and hospitality information.
Maintain the reception area in a highly presentable condition.
Assist with casino events and recognition programs.
Facilitate Team Member life events and discount programs.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:

High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD)
Two (2) years of administrative experience.
Any combination of education and experience that clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the job duties of the position.

Skills and Abilities:

Proven office management skills, including communication (verbal and written), organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED
Education and Experience:

One (1) year Human Resources experience.
Snoqualmie Casino Career Development Track Series completion.

Snoqualmie Casino exercises Snoqualmie Tribal Member/Native American preference in hiring, in compliance with the Snoqualmie Tribal Employment Rights Ordinance (TERO). You must obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Snoqualmie Gaming Commission. Pre-employment drug testing is required for all positions. The use of marijuana will not disqualify an applicant for positions in any department other than Transportation (Valet, Driver I). DOT panel testing is required for the Driver position.
