Description :
This position offers remote/hybrid work schedule.
This exciting position as a Human Resources Specialist will coordinate HR’s support to the Engineering Business Unit’s proposal activities. This person will have opportunities to interact with business development, the capture teams, and the HR team to ensure awareness of all new business activity and HR’s pro-active coverage of required support. The new business specialist will participate in pipeline and color team reviews, ensure assignment of HR proposal support as opportunities are identified, and coordinate with the business unit HR Leads to ensure proposal coverage and awareness of proposals and workforce transitions; review Requests for Proposal and Task Orders to determine necessary HR and Staffing support; provide advice and counsel on key management selections, org structure, workforce planning, total compensation, employee recognition, risk mitigation, fringe development, etc.; provide input to and authorship of proposal volumes, partnering as necessary with the Program and/or Capture Manager, HR, Compensation, Staffing, Benefits, Global Mobility, Pricing and Payroll; complete job mapping and partner with pricing on labor and fringe benefits; maintain repository of past proposal support and provides training and guidance to HR team members who support proposal activities; facilitates new business reviews on a semi monthly basis and other duties.
Required Qualifications:
BA/BS in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience in lieu degree) and 2 years of related HR experience
Strong analytical skills, data compilation, computation, projection/forecasting skills
Strong communication skills, verbal and written
MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
Desired Qualifications:
Experience in U.S. government services environment
Experience across multiple HR functions (compensation, staffing, benefits)
Experience with proposal activity
Compensation
SCA and CBA knowledge and experience
Experience with OCONUS work
