IT Application Development

Duties
This position supports the agency’s transformation goals to adopt a business approach to park system administration by facilitating data communications and designing new business automation, data dashboards, and data analysis systems. This position will help modernize interpretation methods through development of custom mobile web systems. This position will also provide professional consultation for IT problem resolution, security issues, and agency policy issues.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Design, develop, and update systems using various programming languages including Microsoft, NET, SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), JavaScript, hypertext makeup language (HTML), jQuery PowerShell, and DotNetNuke (DNN).
Develop, patch, and reconfigure web systems to meet changing security requirements.
Research specific threats and responses options and develop response plans for agency web and collaboration systems.
Develop and optimize workflow leveraging web and network systems.
Research solutions for unique/new technology requests, and direct purchase of approved acquisitions.
Collaborate with IT team and WaTech agency to deliver services.
Collaborate and support the development of IT Policies, procedures, and standards.
Project coordination and communication for supported systems.
Collaborate with IT team to develop presentations and training materials.
Primary liaison with WaTech regarding issues with hosted web and ftp systems.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.**
Two (2) years of experience in enterprise-level web and system development.
OR
Associate degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.**
Four (4) years of experience in enterprise-level web and system development.
**Each year of work experience may substitute year-for year of education.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience utilizing Microsoft.NET, Microsoft Power Platforms, CSS, JavaScript, HTML, jQuery, and PowerShell.
Experience developing with SharePoint
Experience utilizing Microsoft Power Automate.
