Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Interiors Category Manager to Lead Supply Base Management supporting our Interiors Categories Management and Supply Chain Operations in Everett, Washington.

Position Responsibilities:

Leads supplier/subcontractor business relationships, in-service requirements and performance to contractual obligations and expectations.
Manages and monitors supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
Leads the development of mitigations plans to avoid risk and resolve issues impacting customers and programs.
Develops and implements supplier base plans to support customer, program and commodity strategies.
Analyzes supplier and business processes and procedures to identify improvement opportunities and incorporate into contracting strategies.
Acts as primary point of contact for suppliers, customers and programs.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite (4 days per week) at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management
5+ years of experience in Project Management
3+ years of experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment
10+ years of experience in communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership
Ability to travel domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

10+ years of experience Managing supplier relationships
3+ years’ experience with improvement methodologies (Lean, systematic problem solving, Category Management principles)
1+ years’ experience/familiarity with quality management systems

Typical Education/Experience:
Typically, 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) strongly preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Summary pay range: $109,650 – $150,930
