This position is key in supporting the mission of the agency by serving as the first point of contact and the agency’s expert and technical administrator with the highest-level agency system access for the Washington State Learning Center, and ensuring information and access to employee training and development opportunities statewide. This position is responsible for managing the assignment; monitoring, tracking, auditing and reporting of OHR managed training courses for new hires and newly appointed Supervision Fundamentals Program courses for newly appointed supervisors, as well as providing Learning Center technical support and scheduling for ILD program activities. Duties
Some of what you will be doing:
WA State Learning Center administration, management, implementation of functions for the L&I Learning Center domain, including:
Learning Center System Activity Administration and Maintenance
Reporting
Assigning Certifications and Outside Vendor Training
Customer Service
Education/Training
Communication
Manage, implement and administer Learning Center system enhancement, changes, including:
Collaboration with internal and external Leaming Center Business Partners
Onboard L&I new hires
Onboard newly appointed supervisors to the Supervision Fundamentals Program (SFP)
Inclusion, Learning and Development Program Support
Qualifications
Required:
Associate’s Degree with a focus on business administration, human resources, public administration, social or organizational behavioral sciences, or related field.
Two years relevant work experience may substitute for education.
AND
Two (2) years of experience in data collection and analysis using some type of custom automated system, preferably a learning management system.
AND
Two (2) years of experience using standard office software such as Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
AND
Three (3) years providing customer service, work independently in making decisions regarding work processes and methods.
OR
High School diploma or equivalent.
AND
Three (3) years of paraprofessional experience in managing training records, data collection and analysis using some type of learning management system.
AND
Three (3) years of experience using standard office software such as Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
AND
Three (3) years providing customer service, work independently in making decisions regarding work processes and methods.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree with a focus on business administration, human resources, public administration, social or organizational behavioral sciences, or related field.
AND
One (1) year of HR experience.
AND
Two (2) years of experience in data collection and analysis in SAP/HRMS, learning management system or a similar system.
AND
Two (2) years providing customer service, work independently in making decisions regarding work processes and methods.
OR
Equivalent education/experience.
