Job Summary
The Markey Cancer Center is recruiting for a Nurse Clinical Research I to assist in clinical trials through evaluations and treatments of study subjects along with the attending physician and/or Principal Investigator. Essential duties of this position include, but are not limited to, daily screening to recruit subjects, as well as monitoring and instituting therapies and documentation related to research subjects and studies. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and assisting in filing necessary regulatory paperwork.
The successful candidate will learn and follow good clinical practices in the conduct of research protocols, as well as assist the principal investigator with the reporting of serious adverse events. Furthermore, this position will assist in ensuring the welfare of study subjects, and self-evaluates work for completeness, accuracy and compliance to protocol.

This position will have a fully on-site work arrangement.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

In addition, we are looking for experience with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of clinical trial standards.

A BSN with a strong clinical knowledge base, as well as a basic knowledge of study documentation and data management is preferred.
