The employee in this position performs high-volume, on-demand and variable data production activities that are time-sensitive, and data-sensitive print, mail and sign shop work in a fast-paced environment using the latest technologies. ESSENTIAL EMPLOYEE – REQUIRED TO REPORT TO WORK DURING EMERGENCIES AND OFFICE CLOSINGS. This position is responsible for operating commercial, high-speed digital, lithographic presses, mail inserters and sign shop equipment to produce commonwealth agency publications and customized documents and envelopes; reviewing specifications to prepare jobs for printing; modifying files before production utilizing specialized software; configuring and releasing jobs from the print queue; operate computerized insertion equipment to process barcoded letters and documents; operate sign shop equipment and monitor jobs for integrity, accuracy and quality of finished products. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment.
Work hours are 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm w/ 30-minute lunch at 7 pm, OR 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Monday – Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
Vacancies in multiple shifts.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Print Production Operator; or
One year of experience in the operation of print or mail insertion equipment or similar machinery used in a print or mail production facility; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

Six months full time experience working in an industrial environment
Applicants for this position must demonstrate professionalism, the ability to communicate effectively, and interact and work well with others and in groups.
You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

Must be willing and able to work first or third shift.
Willing and able to work in Harrisburg, PA.
