Position : Production Supervisor

Description :
We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to contribute to our team. The ideal candidate has a background in production and logistics, green or sustainable construction, or prefabricated construction experience. They have high standards and are able to keep the production area clean and organized and work with the team to make sure the job runs smoothly. This position requires a hardworking and proactive individual who is willing to take on responsibility to manage their team.
Responsibilities:
Directly supervising the activities of production employees in the act of processing and shipping product
Ensuring safe operation of all equipment at the facility
Facilitating capture of near misses, accident investigations, and implementing corrective actions
Entering Maintenance notifications and work with Maintenance department to communicate any issues
Reviewing all employee timecards, managing employee time off to ensure support is adequate for the shift
Providing daily production recaps and downtime
Conducting pre-shift huddle meetings and set expectations for shift performance/productivity
Coordinating resources of production (manpower, raw material inventory and equipment condition) to ensure production needs are met in a safe and efficient manner
Managing housekeeping to ensure safe, efficient production
Monitoring warehousing and orderly storage of finished product produced on shift
Conducting safety meetings, incident investigations and implementing corrective actions
Scheduling production to facilitate the shipment order demands · Coordinating resources of production (manpower, raw material, inventory, equipment condition) to ensure production needs are met in a safe and efficient manner
Reviewing finished goods inventory and production reports to verify accuracy, reporting to management
Coordinating activities between all production shifts
Providing weekly production reports
Inputting and tracking work orders generated for facility maintenance through the Maintenance Management System
Providing leadership to drive continuous improvements in product quality · Understanding the importance of product safety, legality, authenticity and quality – informs the Quality Department and/or the Leadership Team of any issues related to these
Performing other duties as reasonably assigned
Your Profile

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
OSHA-30 Certification
Excellent interpersonal skills, including effective coaching and mentoring

Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Knowledge of plant equipment and an understanding of importance of operation within designating operating procedures
Leadership and supervisory ability
Knowledge of processing and packaging
Able to multi-task
Knowledgeable in modern production practices
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
