*Job Summary*This role will directly support the Purchasing Manager. This role will be involved in processing material purchase orders and documenting any materials received into any of our 3 warehouses. Our ideal candidate will have a high degree of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to collaborate well with others with diverse work styles.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Reconcile vendor invoices for material and freight.
Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders based on business requirements and inventory levels
Monitor vendor pricing and availability. Expedite communication when orders are delayed
Work closely with warehouse staff to oversee shipping schedules and stage material for shipping
Resolve issues related to inventory returns, replacements, and credit arrangements
Research potential new vendors as needed
Assist in updating and managing inventory spreadsheets and other documents
Assist with analyses and reports
Other duties as assigned
Requirements, Qualifications, & Skills:
High school degree required
College degree in business/marketing or similar experience desired. 2-3 years on the job training in warehouse management acceptable in lieu of college degree
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
Must be proficient user of Microsoft suite of programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent relationship management skills
Excel at operating in a fast paced, changing environment
Strong multi-tasking skills
Must be able to lift up to 50-pound sacks of sand and aggregate
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check
Authorized to work in the United States. HTI uses E-Verify
Position Reports to: Director of Supply Chain & Asset Management
