The Opportunity:

*This position is onsite at CCH – Campbell County Health Hospital in Gillette, WY*


Completes analysis/reanalysis of all records accurately and timely

Performs or assists in the performance of all tasks related to the physician suspension process

Assigns signature deficiencies to Med Images reports

Works the wait for OP Note and others are requested, to help prevent delays in billing/coding.

Submits reports to the outside transcription service provider which contain physician corrections, ensuring they are returned timely.

Performs chart pick-up and reconciles records retrieved against the discharged lists, ensuring any missing records has timely follow-up/resolution.

Assists in monitoring the quality of work in the document imaging system.

Reviews the surgery schedule each day, ensuring reports that are available are delivered timely to the pre-op area.

Other duties as assigned


Knowledge of CMS, and Joint Commission regulations preferred

EMR experience preferred

Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred (Acute care facility HIM experience)
