As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will conduct the day to day tactical supply chain functions related to supplier on boarding as well as provide support for the Supplier Management and Purchasing department across various locations.

Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Associates are responsible for facilitating the supplier onboarding process, handling supplier document management, and leading supplier interaction with Blue Origin systems and process. They coordinate with suppliers to provide technical support and instruction, request required documentation from new suppliers, and analyze incoming supplier documentation to ensure that Blue requirements and standards are met. In this role you will be responsible to:

Engage in and resolve supplier onboarding requests, supplier record updates, non-disclosure agreement (NDA) requests, and supplier onboarding document requests using the Coupa system and Coupa Supplier Portal

Administrator internal and external e-signature of supplier documentation through DocuSign

Sync records and troubleshoot in the event of a miscommunication between supplier management and other systems

Provide input on system and process improvement pertaining to supplier management

Coordinate communications to the supplier base as the need arises

Work with buyers/team members to resolve supplier onboarding issues

Input ACH data/remit to information for supplier accounts

Interact with stake holders to insure there requested supplier comply with ITRA requirements and ensure onboarding documents are completed correctly and align with Blue Origin standers.

Give status updates to the leadership team

Contact new suppliers via email and phone to ensure they are registered on the Coupa instance for a new supplier and understand how to use the forms.

Qualifications:

Three years tactical experience supporting purchasing department, legal department or similar vendor or customer management

Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment to accomplish goals while managing multiple tasks

Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook and Windows programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams, and independently

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Strong organizational and analytical skills

Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion

Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Desired:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field

Experience with Coupa, Costpoint, DocuSign or Atlassian Jira or similar

Experience with aerospace defense industry preferred

Experience with ISO procedures and quality management.
