Summary:
Under the supervision of the Customer Service Manager, the Surgery Scheduler will be responsible to schedule and coordinate patient appointments and medical procedures with internal and external providers or ancillary departments/clinics as identified by provider with appropriate documentation.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Richland, WA Requirements:
Education: High school diploma required. Experience: 1 year Medical/Dental and Specialty setting preferred. License/Certification: None Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Extensive and excellent customer service experience. Works efficiently under minimal or no supervision. Ability to manage time effectively. Knowledge of Athena -OR- other electronic medical record (EMR) experience. Medical terminology comprehension.
