About the role
In this NEWLY CREATED role you will provide support to a team of Psychologists and Counsellors based throughout New Zealand. By drawing on your expertise and experience you will lead and develop your team to ensure the delivery of customer and client KPIs as well as operational targets. You will have OWNERSHIP of your clients’ rehabilitation journey, and together with your team will support a range of clients in their journey as they return to work and life after injury or illness through:
Providing your team with strong leadership, coaching, support, and development which empowers them to truly make a positive difference in your client’s lives
Working closely with the Clinical Lead – Psychology and the Clinical Advisory Team in developing and maintaining clinical standards
Building and maintain relationships with a range of external agencies employers and insurers
Managing the service delivery standard of your own small clinical case load
Supporting senior leaders through exploring new business opportunities

Key skills and experience
Registered Clinical Psychologist with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience
Current registration with NZPB as well as NZCCP, NZPS or another recognised professional body
Ability to demonstrate strong clinical acumen
Experience in a leadership role with a team of direct reports and/or providing supervision to psychologists with a mix of experience levels
Proven ability to deliver on KPIs and manage performance
Strong relationship management skills
Awareness of cultural competency and an ability to work with diversity
Full NZ/AU Driver’s Licence
