About the Position:
Are you effective at troubleshooting engines, generators and switchgear as well as working with others? If so, we have a challenging opportunity as a Technician II/III in Central Washington / Wenatchee. This is a key role in our company in which our Electric Power, generator technicians are responsible for diagnosing and performing all repairs, installation and commissioning on EPG and generators in the field. You will troubleshoot, tear down, clean, inspect and make necessary repairs, replace or recondition components and follow detailed instructions to perform prep and repairs while following manufacture and company procedures. The successful candidate will be able to order parts as required by using Caterpillar parts ordering system (SIS), effectively communicate with engineering and with customers, end-users and other team members, and meet flat rates as required. Must also meet administrative requirements to complete paperwork, including service reports, input of hours timely and accurately. You will be required to promote and adhere to strict safety standards and maintain company assets in good condition.
Qualifications & Experience Needed:
For this position, you will need a Diesel technology degree or equivalent hands on experience, 5+ years previous engine and generator experience or similar with Cummins, MTU, Kohler or Generac. In this position, you will need to supply your own tools, you must have and maintain a valid state driver license. Experience as team leader and project manager preferred.
