Description:
Position Purpose: Responsible for performing the operations functions for the department and is expected to be knowledgeable about the Trust accounting system, general trust accounting principles, compliance with trust documents, and investments.
What you’ll do
Process all accounting transactions accurately and timely including income, capital changes, investments, contributions, mutual funds and disbursements
Set-up and maintain statement information
Taxes—withhold federal and state taxes, as applicable. Make estimated payments, prepare W-2’s, 1099’s and other required tax documents; coordinate with accountants, review prepared returns
Prepare annual report, checks and other necessary documentation for trust/guardian annual accountings
Review quarterly fees and process as applicable
Set up new accounts, investment reviews, statements, payments, fees and cross-references
Close accounts by withholding fees, distributing assets and filing final accountings and tax returns
Other duties, as assigned
Requirements:

Knowledge of and compliance with trust documents
Knowledge of investments
Strong attention to detail while being timely and efficient

Assist in any area of the Trust Department, as required
