Our Zulily corporate headquarters is in Seattle, WA, and this position is available for remote work in the following states: WA, OH, NV, PA, TX, NC, GA, NJ and FL.
The Opportunity
The User Experience Designer (UX) II has expertise in a wide range of UX methodologies that result in impactful solutions. This person will demonstrate cross-platform thinking for a variety of devices, contexts and modalities. In this role, you will be a thought leader who possesses a high degree of UX design, user research, and mentoring abilities as well as foundational visual design skills. Work will range from but is not limited to: responsive site design, mobile app design for iOS and Android and feature-level UI and interaction design across all platforms.

This role sits within the central UX team which allows UX Designers to influence all aspects of user experience. In this role, you will be creating delightful experiences for our customers from discovery through checkout. UX Designers have distinct areas of ownership and decision-making authority within their scope of work. The work you do has high visibility. You will have an opportunity to make an impact on the business and showcase your work to leadership and across the organization.

Your Impact

Collaborate with stakeholders, multidisciplinary teams, and other designers in defining UX requirements to design and deliver UX solutions to improve and innovate the Zulily user experience
Influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gain buy in for designs that enable the user to achieve their objectives in the best way possible
Serve as primary point of contact for engineering and product management teams for the projects you own
Pull from breadth of expertise in UX methodologies across all phases of product development process: discovery, research, design, build, analysis and iteration
Actively participate in planning and prioritization

What You Bring

Minimum of 3 years professional experience in UX/Product design and a solid understanding of the relationship between content, visual design, user interface and technology
Outstanding design portfolio of interactive projects
Excellent communication and presentation skills
High level of proficiency in Figma, prototyping tools, UserTesting, or equivalent programs
