Position : Veterinary Receptionist

Our Veterinary Receptionists are the ambassadors of the practice – the first and last impression our clients receive. Job responsibilities include checking in/out clients, answering phones, booking appointments, collection of fees, problem solving, maintenance of electronic medical records, refill of medications and food, and following doctor’s verbal and written instructions.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Excellent interpersonal, communication, personal computer and problem solving skills
The ability to work in a fast paced, detail oriented, multi-tasking, team environment.
A love of working with clients and their pets and providing them “service with a smile”.
A minimum of 1 year experience working in a frontline client service role in a veterinary, healthcare or retail environment. Frontline client service experience at a veterinary practice working with IDEXX Cornerstone software is a definite plus!!
This position requires:
Being able to stand for extended periods of time
Moving in and out of the building repetitively to service clients
Lifting and carrying a minimum of 35 lbs.
Working evenings and weekends.
candidates without veterinary experience start at $14/hr
candidates with veterinary or medical office experience start at $15+/hr
