This position is available fully remote in Washington State only.
Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW) is looking for an experienced Website Content Manager to join our creative team.
If you love creating high-quality and engaging website content, optimizing web presence based on data, and coordinating with a creative team to help people find and use our health plans, then we’d love to talk with you! This role is equal parts content creator, project manager, and collaborator on marketing campaigns driving traffic to the website in support our goals with members and providers.
Essential Functions
Drive strategy for CHPW brand content across multiple organizational websites that are aligned with marketing and other business targets including retaining and attracting members.
Coordinate with web developer and marketing team to create and drive priorities across all platforms for content, features and functionality, and experiences. Ensure content is well-structured, easy to find, and meets the needs of users.
Define and drive key performance indicators and success metrics for content and promotion. Measure content performance and optimize to meet metrics. Use SEO tactics and CMS to maximize search rankings, optimize content, and analyze user engagement and work closely with a technical team to maintain site standards.
Project manage web content creation across teams including editorial and production schedules, creative team staff time, resources, and deadlines for web-based projects including for marketing campaigns, website optimizations and improvements, blogs, and videos.
Write, proofread, and edit content; develop and manage an editorial calendar to ensure timely content development and postings. Work with subject matter experts across the organization, with community partners, and from other sources to ensure accuracy of content.
Collaborate with social and digital media managers for content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic. Work with marketing strategists, web developers, and internal communication teams to measure content effectiveness (usage, adoption, and reach), brand awareness, lead generation, customer loyalty, and user engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the organization to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables and lead project execution.
Manage processes for required web postings from CHPW business owners to adhere to compliance or regulatory requirements from state and federal authorities; Write and curate updated content and ensure the website remains in compliance with company, state and federal requirement.
Adhere with the internal policies and procedures.
Exempt – Employees are expected to report to work as scheduled, participate in all assigned meetings, and meet established performance and accountability standards.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree, Associates degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience required.
Experience
3 years minimum experience in content development, web management, project management and coordination.
3 years working in web analytics and optimization.
3 years experience working in a CMS platform (Preferably WordPress).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent writing and copy editing skills (English and preferably Spanish) Health -related writing skills and familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, Cascade Care terms is a plus.
Proven skills in website content design, optimization (SEO) and analytics.
Excellent project management, time management and team coordination skills. Manage creative team staff time, resources, and deadlines for web-based projects including for marketing campaigns, website optimizations and improvements, blogs, and videos.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in detail and under tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and present in a group setting. Flexibility and willingness to work in a matrix-management environment
Experience in web analytics, especially Google analytics and reports, including measuring SEO performance and optimizing content to increase traffic and conversions. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret, evaluate and formulate action plans based upon data.
Familiarity with ADA and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
Ability to work independently.
Perform all functions of the job with accuracy, attention to detail and within established timeframes.
Meet attendance and punctuality standards
Demonstrate professional courtesy to others and ability to maintain confidentiality
Basic understanding of HTML and CSS to be able edit the content inside code
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,500.00 – $94,500.00 per year
