Our Opportunity:
Chewy.com is looking for a Workday Reporting and Security Analyst for one of our corporate sites. In this role, you will support Workday security structure, reporting development and testing activities. You will partner across functional business teams, ensuring data, configuring and security meet requirements.
This role will ensure data integrity and process quality; manage security and report needs; manage the testing of processes to support new releases and implementations; provide application administration; establish and maintain data audits and analysis as required. This role will contribute to the development, testing, and deployment activities for HCM Security and Reporting technology as part of the HR Data Operations team.
Current permanent U.S. work authorization is required.
What you’ll do:

Provide consultation and collaboration to cross-functional teams both inside and outside of HR, acting as the subject matter expert for Workday Security, Testing and Reporting
Create, edit, and remove organization security roles in Workday
Perform security impact analysis due to change requests or Workday upgrades
Conduct high level needs analysis and recommend service improvements to increase the efficiency of the Workday security model
Participate in report reviews, including understanding and ensuring security and data privacy standards
Support the development, operation and maintenance of Workday reporting, security, and role assignment
Support the security and reporting assignment for ongoing business processes such as Open Enrollment, Performance Management cycles, Compensation Planning, and all other ongoing programs
Perform security impact analysis due to change requests or Workday upgrades
Ensure all security and reporting processes are followed as documented in Sarbanes-Oxley process narratives, process flows, and control matrices.
Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy and compliance
Act as the testing lead for bi-annual releases, projects, and issue resolution, working with business users, IT, vendors, and other support teams to define scope, plan the testing strategy for any system changes and enhancements
Identify test scenarios, develop test scripts, and provide key support in User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Develop testing frameworks, scripts, and processes and select/implement testing automation tool
Develop and maintain awareness of both current and new functionality
Engage regularly in Workday online Community, submit brainstorms, keeping HR leadership abreast of relevant information
Manage project deliverables and milestones and specified project tasks
Support timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary
Help develop necessary communication and training materials in support of system navigation and changes.
Provide hands-on tier 2 or 3 operational support for security, testing and reporting issues, including complex questions and change requests
Ensure data privacy is maintained
Participates in special projects with staff as directed
Support change management and training activities
Other duties assigned

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
3-5 years of Workday experience or training preferred. Must have experience with HCM system administration, security, and reporting. Experience in multiple Workday modules is a plus (HCM, Compensation, Talent, Benefits, etc.)
Self-starter with proven ability to work within a team-oriented environment
Demonstrated ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Demonstrated experience with Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent) and PowerPoint
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) are required
HR functional experience preferred
Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with functional and IT clients
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle daily planned and unplanned operational activities
Demonstrated skill in attention to detail and accuracy with data
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects efficiently and effectively irrespective of complexity level
Position may require travel
